Embellez - Return & Refund Policy

At Embellez, we are dedicated to providing high-quality fashion to our customers in the United States and the United Kingdom. To continue offering Free Outbound Shipping, we maintain a centralized return process through our European facility.

1. Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. Return requests submitted after this 30-day window will not be accepted.

2. International Return Address (Belgium, Europe)

To ensure consistent quality inspection, all returns from the USA and the UK must be shipped to our central processing facility in Belgium.

  • Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for all international return shipping charges.
  • No Prepaid Labels: Embellez does not provide prepaid return labels.
  • Duties & Fees: Any customs duties, import taxes, or carrier processing fees charged to Embellez upon the arrival of your return in Belgium will be deducted from your final refund amount.
  • Estimated Costs: Please note that international shipping can be costly. We recommend checking rates with your local carriers (e.g., USPS, UPS, or DHL in the USA; Royal Mail or Evri in the UK) before initiating a return.

3. Return Shipping Terms

  • Tracking Mandatory: You must use a tracked shipping service. Embellez is not responsible for returns that are lost, damaged, or undelivered during transit to Belgium.
  • Customs Declaration: You must mark the parcel clearly as "Returned Goods". If a parcel is refused by customs due to incorrect documentation, any resulting costs are the customer's responsibility.

4. Condition of Items

Every return undergoes a manual inspection. To receive a refund, items must be:

  • In original condition with all tags attached.
  • Unworn, unwashed, and free of any scents (perfume, smoke, body odor).
  • Free of marks, including makeup, tan stains, deodorant, or pet hair.
  • Returned in the original packaging.

Items that do not meet these criteria will be deemed non-resaleable. In such cases, a refund will not be issued, and the item can be returned to you at your expense.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We take quality control seriously. If you receive an item that is damaged or incorrect, you must contact us at info@embellez.com within 7 days of delivery.

To process your claim, please provide:

  • Your order number.
  • Clear photos of the defect or the incorrect item received.
  • A photo of the shipping label and the packaging.
  • Fraud Prevention: Items found to be intentionally damaged to bypass international return shipping costs will not be eligible for a refund. We verify all claims against our pre-shipment inspection records.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Personalized or custom-made products.
  • Gift cards.
  • Returns sent without prior written approval from our team.
  • Returns sent to any address other than our designated Belgian facility.

7. How to Start a Return

  • Email info@embellez.com with your order number and reason for return.
  • Once approved, you will receive the official Belgian return address.
  • Ship the item using a tracked service and share the tracking number with us via email.
  • Once received and inspected (typically 5-7 business days), we will notify you of your refund status.

8. Refunds

  1. Method: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  2. Timeline: Most refunds reflect in your account within 10 business days of approval, depending on your bank's processing time.
  3. Exclusions: Original shipping costs (where applicable) and return shipping fees are non-refundable.

9. Chargebacks & Disputes

We encourage customers to reach out to our support team to resolve any concerns. Initiating a chargeback without prior communication is a violation of our terms of service. We contest all unjustified disputes by providing evidence of this policy and proof of delivery.
